The Road Not Taken—Robert Frost
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry, I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted to wear;
Though, as for that, the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Cristy, CTO (Chief Travel Officer, a.k.a. Mrs. Dolce Vita)
My love for travel began with a globe, sparking a fascination with distant lands and cultures. Imagining the vibrant cultures and explorations each destination held filled me with happiness that sparked a lifelong passion for travel.
Globes have always fascinated me. When I got my first globe as a child, I traced the lines of my father’s journeys as a merchant marine. I would eagerly anticipate his return, as we would talk about his travels. He would bring me currency from the countries he visited as souvenirs, and I would fantasize about visiting those places as he recounted his tales.
Physical globes may seem like simple objects that are out of date now, but they are much more to me. A globe signifies aspirations and adventure! The globe tells tales! A globe unites and simplifies the complexities of our world. And yet, since it is spherical, it is limitless! As are the experiences, stories, and desires to travel and explore our beautiful world.
