What We Are Doing

Rebuilding crumbling walls and replacing unstable roofs in 11 classrooms
Hygienic Tiling ($8,000)
Installing durable floors to eliminate mud, parasites, and glass hazards.
Doors, Windows, & Security ($2,500)
Install secure doors and water-resistant windows
Student & Teacher Furniture ($3,500)
Build 130 desks and benches, teacher desks and chairs
Community Programs & Implementation ($2,400)
Baseball and sports programs, women's skills training in financial literacy and income-generating crafts, educational materials, and project coordination
Interior Finishing & Painting ($1,500)
Mold-resistant paint, blackboards, and waterproofing treatments
Volunteer Coordination & In-Country Support ($4,000)
Transportation, accommodation, meals, translation, and coordination support for US-based volunteer team
Sanitation & Hygiene Improvement ($1,000)
Handwashing stations and water access points
Local Project Management Capacity Building ($1,100)
Hire two local young women as project management assistant and coordinator
