Our primary partnership is with Global Peace Media, a well-established 501(c)(3) nonprofit that serves as Mi Bella Mondo’s fiscal sponsor. This relationship is the bedrock of our financial model, ensuring that every dollar directed toward our mission is managed with the highest standards of legal compliance and integrity.
Our relationship in Rushaga isn’t with an intermediary organization. It’s directly with the school itself. We work hand in hand with the founding director and leadership of Rushaga Community School, who have spent years building a place of learning for children living at the edge of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
Together, we’re supporting the school’s rebuild, from classrooms to basic resources, guided by what the school’s own leadership identifies as most needed, not what we assume from a distance.
Mi Bella Mondo has partnered with The Brendan Barker Foundation to bring the power of youth sports to underserved communities around the world. Through this collaboration, we aim to collect baseball uniforms and equipment that children in the Bay Area have outgrown and donate them to communities in need globally. We’re also exploring opportunities to provide coaching and mentorship to teach children how to play, fostering confidence, teamwork, and leadership through sports.
The Brendan Barker Foundation honors the legacy of Brendan Barker, who dedicated fifteen years to the Alameda Little League community as an umpire, mentor, and advocate for youth development. The foundation supports youth through mentorship programs, scholarship initiatives, and expanded access to sports for underserved children.
