Cristy’s career began in Information Technology, where she honed skills in strategy, problem-solving, and large-scale system implementation. But her personal life was characterized by extensive travel and a strong commitment to building genuine connections with people and cultures worldwide. This direct experience exposed her to some of the world’s most stunning places and emphasized the urgent need to protect them.

Cristy realized her true calling was in connecting these two passions: using her strategic background to create a robust system for change.

Today, she applies that same strategic precision to ensure that Mi Bella Mondo operates with total transparency, providing a structured system where travel directly fuels global conservation.

A Calling to Act: From Strategy to Social Enterprise

This blend of purpose and profession drove Mi Bella Mondo to become a social enterprise. Cristy is now focused on creating a new model of global citizenship, where the structure and precision of business are harnessed to promote exploration for conservation and human dignity.

The Traveler Behind the Vision

Based in California, Cristy is happily married with two amazing sons who have been traveling with her since the day they were born. Her wanderlust began with her father, a merchant marine whose stories of adventure around the world planted the seed for a life of exploration. Before having kids, Cristy traveled the globe extensively as a solo adventurer, immersing herself in diverse cultures and building a lifelong perspective on what it means to be a global citizen. Her favorite type of adventure? No agenda. Going with the flow of life, immersing herself in local culture, and living with families in the communities she visits. Her idea of a perfect day is getting lost, stepping outside her comfort zone, and embracing the unexpected, whether it’s the chaos of the Maha Kumbh Mela or the serenity of the Golden Temple.
