My deep love for exploration and connection with people shaped my travel experience years before the founding of Mi Bella Mondo.
In the 1990s—when travel planning meant flipping through paper brochures, booking by fax, and navigating with guidebooks instead of Google—I ran a successful travel agency. I also worked alongside a friend who owned a boutique agency, gaining hands-on experience and a deep appreciation for the art of crafting unforgettable journeys. The industry looked unique back then—more personal, more reliant on real-world connections—but the spirit of travel was just as vibrant.
After that chapter, I dedicated two decades to building a thriving IT consulting business while continuing to travel the world, collecting stories, forging friendships, and uncovering hidden gems away from the usual path.
Mi Bella Mondo originated from a lifelong passion for authentic, culturally rich travel and the recognition that something is missing in today’s travel landscape.
